The Introduction to Orff course is designed to welcome music educators and those that work musically with people, to the many concepts that form the philosophical essence of the Orff-Schulwerk. The course aims to introduce participants to Orff terminology and basic music theory whilst experiencing the creative ways of working with music, movement and the whole child. Discover ways to enhance your music program and instill creativity in your students through the integration of speech, song, movement, percussion play and recorder activities.
We invite you to join Bethany Elsworth on this 30-hour venture into the realm of the Orff approach to music and dance education.
There is no prerequisite for this course. We welcome all people that are
interested in exploring the concepts of using music and dance creatively.
