Robert de Frece is Professor Emeritus of Music and Music Education at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. Since 1993 he has taught Orff courses all over the United States. He continues to teach in the Orff Schulerk Certifi- cation Program at the University of Alberta. Dr. de Frece is co-author of two music series published by Macmillan/ McGraw-Hill, Share the Music and Spotlight on Music. He has authored many other publications by Alfred Pub- lishing. Dr. de Frece has presented Orff workshops across the United States and Canada and in the People’s Republic of China.
